An opening in the office

When Beth and Ted met, they both worked at the same law office. Beth was hired on as a temp legal secretary for the new rising star name Amanda that was brought into the firm. Beth was working for the temp agency when she first met Amanda, but since they seemed to hit it off right away, Amanda convinced Beth to sign on permanently.

After the second week was coming to a end, Amanda asked Beth to make the call and start setting up interviews for a clerk. Beth knew that this meant things would start getting crazy. She had heard that the firm had gotten a case and the buzz was that it would be juicy. Within a week, Amanda had talked to Ted and asked him to join her on the upcoming case.

Amanda liked this firms process because they keep a pool of law students in the firm working as needed on any case. The law students were generally kept busy and each student was expected to put in serious hours as needed. In return, they were allow access to the firms resources for the own studies.

During the third week, Amanda, Beth and Ted were already working into the late evenings. Beth was turning out to be Amanda right hand, as she dug up information for the case through the web. She could also proof-read for Amanda and Ted using her previous skills on other cases.

Beth knew that this skill wasn't call for at the level she preformed them, but she could always pick and choose the jobs and never was disappointed with her paycheck. It was about 6:30 on Wednesday, and Amanda had sent Ted over to the library at the University to do so research.

He had just called to say that he was grabbing a bite to eat before he finished up his work and would be back about 8:00. As Beth was giving Amanda the message, she noticed that Amanda was dragging.

She offered to make Amanda some strong coffee, but remembered that Amanda did not care for the taste and only drank it to be social. Taking a drink of hot tea, she asked Beth if she could make some more, but stronger.

When Beth returned, she said she had just ordered a pizza and made some strong tea. Beth then asked Amanda if she trusted her to try one more thing. Rubbing her eyes, Amanda said that she would try anything because she had to work three or four more hours before she could think about calling it a night.

Beth started to tell Amanda about one guy she worked for, who also didn't care for coffee. Beth didn't know how Amanda would accept the thought of taking her coffee straight and Beth wasn't just talking about no cream or sugar. Beth asked Amanda to follow her into her private bathoom.
As they walked into the bathroom, Amanda saw the trust issue that Beth was talking about. Beth spoke right up and said that she learned about coffee enemas in college. She started giving them to her first boss, who was just starting out and was having to work until 9 or 10 on most nights. One night we were having a bite to eat and he was about to fall face first in the meal I brought from home. So I excused myself and went into the main kitchen and found a half of pot of coffee. When I was walking past him towards his bathroom he noticed the coffee.

When I called him into the room, everything was ready. After his initial shock of the enema bulb, the sink that was half filled with coffee, and the jar of petroleum jelly, he knew what was next. Without going into details, Beth just said that her boss gave her a nice raise for her added duties.

Amanda just was in shock and was about to ask if it really worked, but then she remembered all her work and the fact that Ted would be back soon. Amanda instead asked how long it would take and if the could manage it here. Beth shook her head and just said that they could be done in a half hour or less.
